- Next week we will begin our unit on Family. In order to facilitate a connection with your child’s family and the classroom curriculum I will be sending home a blank “home” template for you and your child to cover with drawings, photographs, or magazine clippings that best describe your family (ex. who lives in your home, activities you do with your family, food your family eats). Your child will share their project with the class. Please return the project to school by Tuesday, October 11th so that your child can have the opportunity to share their project with their peers. - There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 10th for the Columbus Day long weekend.
